We are home from the hospital and its been smooth sailing so far. Ellie and Mom have just finished feeding and are now taking a much needed nap.

ITS TIME! We get to head home now. The doctor said everything checked out perfectly fine. So the next entry and pictures will be from our house. The nursing staff and doctors at Crittenton were wonderful.

Its almost time to go home! We are just waiting for the pediatrician to get here from her office to check on baby Ellie. Just finishing up a feeding right now and Jamie's... uhhh... what our neice Natalie would say "nittles" are getting sore. Anyways here are a few more pictures from this morning and yesterday.

7/28 - 9:00 am

Elliot had a good night after the fit she threw in the early morning. Mom and dad got some much needed sleep and are well rested now. The nurse just came and took Elliot for her morning checkups. Just after the nurse took her the she said Elliot made a big mess in her diaper. Maybe that was causing her stomach ache last night that lead to all the fussing.
The pediatrician and doctor will see her soon and once that happens we are free to go. Now is when the fun will begin... mom and dad are getting a little nervous.

7/27 - 11:40 pm - 7/28 - 1:10 am

Since the time she was born, Elle has been an angel... until now! She would not quiet her crying for almost an hour and a half straight. It seems like we tried everything to get her to stop but it was the nurse to the rescue. She had to do some tests in the nursery, so finally we get some quiet time.
On a disappointing side note, the Tigers just lost to the Angels in Cali 11-6. What a start to this little fans Tiger season. :(

Sorry for the lack of updates throughout the day. We have all been pretty tired with all the visitors. Ellie took her first sponge bath with mom and dad today. Everything went well but that was the most vocal she has been yet. She didn't like all that water everywhere!
But now on to what everyone has been waiting for all day

Elliot is just sleeping away right now. She got a little nursery checkup and currently is weighing in at 6 lbs 9 ozs.

As you can see at the top of the page, she finally has a name. We have decided on Elliot Claire Ryzyi. Now, before anyone starts calling or emailing "thats a boys name" we picked the name and love it. Say it a few times and/or write it down, it flows very gracefully. We hope you grow to love it as much as we have over the past month or two while trying to decide.

The hearing test went perfectly fine, but what everyone wants to know... the name! I think we have it finally picked out! However, you will need to wait a little longer. We need to make sure all our parents know first. Update on that coming soon.

On a side note, we are very happy to hear how much everyone likes the up to the minute log of events. Now if I could just figure out how to get the gossip magazines to pay big bucks for these pictures and we would be all set! :)
